Need a break down of the stats. Full time, part time (and those in part time work looking for full time work) and also sham contracting. Look up the ABS (also International) definition of being employed. One (1) or more hours a week and you are employed.

Not according to Roy Morgan Research. '1,265,000 Australians (9.4% of the workforce) were unemployed in October. In addition 1,242,000 Australians (9.2% of the workforce) were under-employed.'

How on earth can it be a ‘jobs boom’ without a reduction in the unemployment rate? And a significant reduction at that?
