As the coronavirus crisis continues to wreak havoc on Victoria, A Current Affair host Tracy Grimshaw spoke with Professor Michael Kidd, Australia's Deputy Chief Medical Officer about whether the situation will get worse before it gets better.
Tracy Grimshaw speaks with Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Professor Michael Kidd on A Current Affair. Grimshaw: Are you confident that the lockdown measures currently underway will get this under control? Victoria's chief health officer said that there have already been spot fires, that was his words, outside of the current postcodes that are hotspots?
Grimshaw: Are the 53 people who have tested positive all being isolated from their family members or their flatmates, for example? Or is it being accepted that if there are three people living in a unit and one is infected, the other two are going to get it? Because they are very small units, it is hard to physically distance.
Grimshaw: When it is figured out who does and who doesn't have it, will they be pulled out and isolated somewhere else?
