Sky News host Rowan Dean says the Voice to Parliament proposal is 'so wrong' because it conflates two very separate ideas into one 'dangerous legal nightmare'.

Sky News host Rowan Dean says the Voice to Parliament proposal is “so wrong” because it conflates two very separate ideas into one “dangerous legal nightmare”.

“Yes, let’s have Indigenous Australians recognised in the Constitution – in a symbolic manner, such as that proposed by Tony Abbott,” Mr Dean said. “His proposal recognises Indigenous Australians, settlers and migrants in one beautiful but purely symbolic preamble – no reasonable person can object to that.

“But it is the fusion of these two very separate notions – one symbolic, one legal – into one permanent and irreversible entity that is so utterly objectionable.”

Yeah, Rowan Dean wants to bring back slavery too!

PaulineHansonOz Credit to original poster.

Legal isn't something that wanker understands

Labor feeding the Fire

Rowan is the host. SkyNews the parasite… hmmm

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaawn👍

I think no special privilege be given to ancestral communities. They need to come up to par with other communitiees n all their land and parks be accessible without any routine entry tax

If he thinks it’s wrong, it’s gotta be right.

Voice to parliament will need to be an Indigenous council of elders composed of elders from all Aust Indigenous countries, clans & tribes. Then it would be a true advisory body to assist legislators to compose legislation which is considerate of Indigenous countries, needs & laws

Issues which plagued Aust since arrival of first fleet: settler colonialism, theft of land, imposition of foreign laws, govt & institutions. Reconciliation means to know the past (truth warts & all), understand differences, bring all sides of Aust together, forge an Aust future.

So “Sky News host says…”! The ongoing drumbeat flows. Much more sky than news

Yep Rohan Dean talk show host. That’s who I will take advice from😑

Rowan Dean... good one !!

Luckily no one takes his advice - just another right wing opinion!

Rowan Dean also thinks Trump will be voted in next election.

He's lying. MurdochGutterMedia

PaulineHansonOz And FYI. I am not visiting this land. This is also my land so anybody that insults my intellect by saying welcome and thank you for visiting will absolutely be punched in the mouth for being racist

He's absolutely right But Abo Albo wants to buy votes by destroying Aussie equality.

Rowan Dean talks crap!

I guess, as Rowan is a Sky host that makes him an expert at being a Sky host and a Rowan host. So his opinion is about as informed as mine. No news, just company noise.

SKY gives Dean a 'voice', which plays into the hands of racists against giving the owners of the land their long overdue rights endorsed by majority of Australians.

Rowan was probably one who was preaching we’d all lose our houses if we said sorry

nevertrustskynews

He’s dead right it’s a croc of shit.

More SKY crap!

bill_dobell Policy decisions that are driven by and contributed to from activists are not always (if at all) balanced. Hence voices of reason are howled down by the usual WizenedAndEnlightened cohort.

The biggest argument for VoteNo is that Aboriginals already have the same voice we all do: the vote. Other reasons: 1) 11 MPs - overly represented 2) a TV station 3) radio stations 4) hosts of free services & support. They want an EXTRA voice. I'm going to VoteNo

Does he want to deny lawyers an income ? By the way, which part of 'referendum' does he not understand ? Is he pro-fascism, and doesn't want democratic voting in Australia ?

It doesn't but Rowan has no time for facts

This just shows your pure Racism at its best.

Funny old world. Mass immigration in the UK only started in the late 40's, yet some wish the new cultures to be promoted over the old. In OZ the old culture, some want promoted over the new culture of the UK. I could be wrong, but is there a bit of a political agenda going on!

And he would know because?

Rowan Bean knows all about being a dangerous legal nightmare

We the people will decide at the referendum. How great is democracy.

Or is it that the labour party are just a bunch of racist that don't want aboriginal people leading their party AlboMP same go's for the liberals your hang on to your parties like a bunch of middle aged white men how about some aboriginals in your parties PeterDutton_MP

Yeah it's going to split us down the middle & that could lead to confrontion down the track, where oh where is there a leader we don't want the voice, my mother made it to senior nurse in the 60's, if they want to lead they have to lead for all of us not just aboriginal people

Apart from constitutional & social cohesion issues, will a Federal Parliament have the strength to reject any representation coming from a body which purports to express the view of Aboriginal Australians on a matter? Just imagine criticism and political pressure - it would fold.

Details of the referendum and how it will work is still being discussed. These clowns are attacking it , so sad so pathetic. Claiming it's divisive while ensuring it is

They are not any more special than any other Australians. They should not be treated as such.

Shakespeare and Austen ‘too toxic’ for students as ‘decolonisation’ takes rootShakespeare, Chaucer and Austen are all regarded as 'too toxic' for the students of today as 'white, western Eurocentric' British universities do away with the great works of the west, Sky News host Rowan Dean says. Many British universities have sought to liberate their courses from 'white, Western and Eurocentric' knowledge, according to an article in The Telegraph. 'You read Shakespeare or Dickens or Hardy to learn how to express yourself and to learn ideas and how ideas can be expressed,' Mr Dean said. What's the upwards limit on late term abortion? Will those same Universities remove from their use of the English language the words these writers invented & gifted to our most marvellous language, too? Seems only fair. Good luck to them with that, then. These people are clowns.

Project Veritas interview reveals how teachers ‘groom’ children to left wing ideologySky News host Rowan Dean says a Project Veritas video of hidden-camera footage reveals how teachers are 'grooming' children to left wing ideology. A secretly recorded video produced by citizen journalist organisation Project Veritas appears to show an elementary assistant principal saying how he avoids hiring conservatives and Catholics in favour of those with more liberal views. 'He gets the teachers in there and they are literally grooming ... our children and our grandchildren, they are grooming them into the whole gender identity philosophy ... into extreme climate alarmism,' Mr Dean said. 'They are doing it ... knowing it is against the law to do it.' Would you trust Project Veritas.👎 Like learning science, maths, respect, empathy.. Rowan Dean is a sensationalist flog.

Teal MP ‘full of gas’ over fossil fuel shareholder activism claimSky News host Rowan Dean says independent MP Kylea Tink is much like the companies she has secretly invested in – 'full of gas'. Ms Tink revealed she owns shares in two fossil fuel companies. The Climate 200-backed independent said she purchased small shareholdings in Viva Energy Group and Beach Energy for the purpose of “shareholder activism”. The North Sydney MP claims wanted to better understand the operations of the two fossil fuel companies and potentially drive reform from within. 'Conveniently, Tink's spokesperson was silent on the extent of her shareholder activism or even whether she'd attended any shareholder meetings in the first place,' Mr Dean said. Someone should lock her and Zali in a room with Chris Dawson. Let’s see how savvy they would be then. Much like Rowan's head

‘They still made him president’: ‘Befuddled’ Biden delivers more ‘gibberish’It's important not to overlook that when US President Joe Biden isn't 'maliciously' painting half the country as dangerous extremists – he's talking gibberish, Sky News host Rita Panahi says. Ms Panahi pointed to a 'befuddled' Mr Biden saying he was the 'only white guy” on the historically black east side of Wilmington, Delaware. 'I'm just grateful that he didn't launch into another story about his hairy legs and corn pop,' Ms Panahi said. 'Can you believe he said all that and they still made him president?' Why does and Australian 'reporters' have an obsession with denigrating a foreign President? Do they get instructions or are they just toadying to Murdoch? 95% of the media in the USA desperately caters to democrats. democrat voters arent learning anything. things are going to get much worse True
