In 2016, black man Philando Castile was shot dead by an officer after he was pulled over for a broken taillight.

A video recording of the death of 25-year-old black man, Ahmaud Arbery, was shared on social media several months after he was shot dead while out jogging. After the video surfaced, the woman was fired by her employer, investment firm Franklin Templeton. She has since made an official on-air apology for her behaviour on American television.

The police handling of his case sparked widespread protests and was yet another example of a white officer walking free over the death of a black man.

More than any recent event George Floyd's death at the hands of a murderous group of police officers will resonate throughout the USA for a very long time. Regrettably, this single action has placed a target on the back of every LEO in the country.

Interracial murder is weighted almost two to one (FBI 2016) in favour of blacks killing whites but I don’t see whites looting after the couple was murdered in Delaware

Why does your Tweet stream not mention this significant ongoing event?

Does 'mourning ' in the USA usually include looting of target stores and trashing neighbourhoods I don't see how that will help anyone

Mourning in America: a divided nation struggles to grieve 100,000 deadAmerica is struggling to commemorate its coronavirus death toll and the President would rather cheerlead recovery than console the grieving. KnottMatthew Our president does not grieve any deaths at all. Our president does not feel any sympathy or empathy for anyone at all. Our president is a sick man, and he will let our country die if it serves his purposes. KnottMatthew Just imagine the death count if Trump didn't ignore the advice from the WHO and shut the borders early. KnottMatthew Let’s acknowledge that Americans have totally given up and have accepted that the pandemic should not be reigned, the human toll be damned. This is revelatory not only of a president who is totally unfit, both intellectually and morally, but also of a broken society.
