You can bet London to a brick as soon as AJ says anything the looney toon Leftards start throwing spiteful remarks and slander. No constructive comment or contra argument based on probable fact, just good old BS. For the record, review 1896-1903 bushfires. Yeah we already know what caused the fires,it was the greens and their opposition to prescribed burns .its an open and shut case really

Another RC? Fire is hot and burns stuff. Reduce fuel load. We have had so many RC’s Into bushfires in the past and none of the recommendations were really enacted. Just need to go back and look previous recommendations and put them into practice. Save millions! Allan jones disagrees with prof micheal mann Theirfore allan must be right good to have that cleared up

How bloody ironic of .AlanJones who panders the deliberately created propagandist diatribe to the gormless minions, who fall for his angry, ill-informed rhetoric Skynews SlyNews PotKettleBlack Fakenews I tweeted this a while ago, not a Jones devotee but tend to agree on this. Total and utter f/wit who has well and truely exceeded his use by date

I'll take my advice from the scientific experts, not from a boomer opinionist that has a questionable ethical background. Alan Jones needs to let those of us who lived through the AustralianFires talk. We want a royal commission. Reckon he's opposed to it, because the results likely won't match the garbage he spouts?

Stock markets plunge, Dow Jones tumbles 1,000 pointsGlobal stocks tumble, as the growing number of coronavirus cases outside China slams share markets into reverse. The ASX eyes a second session of heavy losses The stock market gamblers are getting nervous? somebody sneezes and the stock market always dips Nothing to do with Corvid19 FED has been pumping in $4-5Trillion of QE while not calling it QE RepoMarket since September 2019! MAGA is an illusion & both US political sides want to maintain it until GFC2 hits ScottMorrisonMP Pls Expose mas0nic plot🙏🏻

Alan Jones in opposition to finding the truth shock Sky News host Alan Jones says he is opposed to a royal commission into bushfires because, “THE TRUTH WILL BE EXPOSED” Lack of Hazard Burns did play a role & Arson BUT THE OVERWHELMING PROBLEM IS THE ClimateEmergency and we must address this auspol The PM limited the Royal commission but still the abcnews and SBSNews supposed to broadcast a positive image of Australia to the rest of the world are insisting on creating a Catastrophic context around the event. I received messages from California asking if Sydney was safe!

Who gives a toss what AJ thinks .... seriously ! But we need all responsible agencies and governments to accept that fire hazard reduction is the best method of reducing the likelihood of bushfires, the intensity, duration and the spread of fires. Also, need to bring water access into the discussion. We need the Bradfield plan

What a freakin waste of money! Anyhow what do these Royal Commissions accomplish? Sweet FA! Banks are still wroughting us. Caught out with a slap on the wrist as punishment. Pfft to Royal Commissions! ThisisRaysBlog Yep, a very inconvenient truth. Alan’s a corrupt, self indulgent, ignoramous. Why is nobody in MSM reporting on the unprecedented number of deliberately lit fires that make up most of these supposed climate change fires?

Coronavirus will impact economy 'more than bushfires': Treasurer | Sky News AustraliaTreasurer Josh Frydenberg said the coronavirus will impact the Australian economy 'more than the bushfires' but said any finite figure was still being considered by Treasury and depended on 'how the virus evolves globally'.\n\n'We've seen trade tensions between the US and China, we've seen extended drought, we've seen fires and floods and now the virus,' Mr Frydenberg said.\n\n'We are going into this situation in a much stronger position than many other countries - the Australian economy is remarkably resilient.' \n\nMr Frydenberg touted the government's 'disciplined and considered' approach to its budget, saying the measures 'helped prepare Australia for what is a very challenging global health crisis'.\n\n'Australia is now living within its means and we've done that while cutting taxes, rolling out a 10-year $100 billion infrastructure program, creating new apprentices and spending record amounts on schools and hospitals,' he said.\n\nImage: News Corp Australia\n\n JoshFrydenberg So he still thinks he invested well, then who cleared out the warehouse ⬇⬇⬇ JoshFrydenberg Kidding right? Bushfires which have left many homeless, with a costing possible, versus a disease that has barely hit australia, and we have no idea if it will gain any momentum here. Basic fact vs hypothesis.

By any measure, they are unprecedented. Jones should go back to looking after children in those elite schools he once slithered around in. I thought, after seeing what the RC is seeking answers for, he would be happy. Lets asked the people who took refuge on the beaches on the south coast if they think these fires were unprecedented. Lets ask the people on the north coast who saw rain forest burn for the first time if they think these fires were unprecedented.

Ok, boomer. Alan is correct in this regards. A Royal Commission is only as good as the grounds that are in place for it to cover, and this one is a bogus pile of dribble! P.S. How can you have a Royal Commission, when whitlam removed the Crown/Queen in the 70's, without a referendum? Is Alan Jones still a thing I really thought he'd crawled back up Rupert's crusty ..........

Of course he does. Because he's really quite stupid. Thanks for your opinion, it has been filed appropriately. So, he's against the truth getting out..?

Australia will 'likely' have further coronavirus outbreaks | Sky News AustraliaHealth Minister Greg Hunt says the Australian government has 'lifted our travel advisory for northern Italy' due to the increased number of cases there and across Europe. \n\nMr Hunt said 'we know that new cases have been reported in Austria, Switzerland, Croatia and an unconfirmed report which we are seeking advice on of Brazil being included”.\n\nChief Medical Officer Brendan Murphy told the media the “major concern” currently is the “international situation” and the “number of countries outside of China making it more likely that we will have further outbreaks in Australia”.\n\n“We are still contained in Australia, and we have no community transmission of this virus in Australia – so there is no reason to change anything you do, wear masks, or behave in a way that is different from normal,” he said. \n

'As of 14 January 2020, 18.626 million hectares (46.03 million acres) was burnt or is burning across all Australian states and territories. ... In comparison, the 2018 California wildfires consumed 800,000 hectares (2,000,000 acres)' Seems normal..., This old fart needs to do one What a loss to common sense when this man’s career comes to a close. God keep this man active in media for the next 20.... we need him.

The wailing of an old man Me Too they cost a fortune and no one ever follows Royal Commission recommendations anyway!! Unprecedented use of the word unprecedented! Senate inquiry As usual Alan is the font of aged wisdom ! Alan is unprecedented Does anyone care what Alan Jones says or thinks! He is almost irrelevant today.

Calls for Australia to 'get involved' in Assange extradition trial | Sky News AustraliaBarrister Greg Barns says “there is still room and time' for Australia to 'get involved' in the Julian Assange extradition case.\n\nThe Wikileaks founder underwent the first day of his extradition trial on Monday where he is facing charges relating to the publication of classified documents.\n\nMr Barns told Sky News Assange’s crime was to reveal “the war crimes of the US” but he “is an Australian citizen facing an effective death penalty for that fact”.\n\n“There is now some greater urgency in the matter and more people now saying why doesn’t the Australian government get involved,' he said. \n\nHe also said the report of secret recordings of Mr Assange were “an egregious breach that ought to be concerning to all Australians” because “it showed a level of misconduct on the part of the US”.\n

Or maybe because the findings will be the exact opposite to the fake narrative he has been peddling Does Alan Jones come to work thinking 'how ignorant do I need to sound today to trend on Twitter?' He just has to be in the headlines to keep his wages up. Replace the word 'climate change' with the word 'GOD' & it becomes clear this is a cult- 'GOD' caused the Bushfires; 'GOD' caused the floods etc; The science is in 'GOD is REAL'- anyone who refuses to accept this is a denier

International Idiots can think what they like...Australians want to know why Bushfires were so Uncontrollable and Catastrophic! Very likely we will find that lack of Fuel reduction over years in a prolonged Drought driven by stupid Greenie Environmental concerns are to blame! Sky News please stop pandering to the deliberately created misperception that Alan Jones has anything worthwhile to say about anything

I am also opposed, but for a different reason. There was no need for a Royal commission. Just refer to the 2009 one. 67 recommendations. I checked on Google it would seem not one was implemented. The MorrisonFires were unprecedented Jones is an idiot, not a scientist. AJ again. Wow. The bottom of the opinion barrel has been scraped again by This is not news. Just one mans pathetic unqualified opinion.

Well of course Jonesy knows more than the RFS Commissioner.

Espionage activities are 'reaching a high point' in Australia | Sky News AustraliaExecutive Director of the Australian Strategic Policy Institute Peter Jennings said the operation of foreign spies on Australian soil recently uncovered by ASIO indicates that our political independence” could be seriously compromised.\n\nOn Monday ASIO Director-General of Security Mike Burgess said a sleeper agent had been operating in Australia for years, gathering intelligence on dissidents before he was caught by the intelligence organisation and thrown out of the country.\n\n“What Mr Burgess did was lift the veil on a number of intelligence practices which will come as news to a lot of people in the broader community,” Mr Jennings told Sky News Host Chris Kenny. \n\n “These types of espionage activities have been happening in Australia for many years” but they are “reaching a high point at this moment,” he said. \n\nMr Jennings believes it to be “critically important” that Australians understand the significance of the threat that has been uncovered by ASIO and don’t think of it as “some type of James Bond fiction”.\n\nWhile the government has not publicly attributed the espionage operation to any particular nation, Mr Jennings said “China is the biggest strategic problem that we face at the moment”. \n But spy for what? Technology? Soil? Weather? Energy? Not sure what the spies look for. Why not turn the guy and have him feed back ambigious info implying other suspected spies had turned....then kick back & watch the show. No point outing him & deporting the guy. Hell just be replaced by another agent. It wouldnt be hard to make him afraid of going back to china.

Australia has 'on more than one occasion' deported spies: Peter Dutton | Sky News AustraliaHome Affairs Minister Peter Dutton confirms foreign spies have been deported for operating inside Australia and says, “we’ll continue to do it”.\n\nASIO announced it uncovered a sleeper agent running a spy ring inside Australia and revealed there are more foreign agents operating in Australian than at the height of the Cold War.\n\nMr Dutton also confirmed the foreign countries of origin of these spies.\n\n“We are talking about China, we’re talking about Russia, we’re talking about Iran, and we’re talking about other nations,” he said.\n\nThe home affairs minister told Sky News host Paul Murray, Australia is a “a target for foreign interference,” highlighting how in some cases “secrets (were) stolen from law firms representing Australian firms” in negotiations with foreign countries.\n\nImage: News Corp Australia Shouldn't even be here if your doing your job properly.
