'I am terrified': Motorists worried Saudi attack will drive up fuel prices | weir_benjamin

Motorists feeling the pinch of high fuel prices are concerned the attack on Saudi Arabia's biggest oil processing plant could lead to further pain at the petrol pump.

On Saturday, the state-owned Saudi oil producer Saudi Aramco was forced to halt production of 5.7 million barrels of crude a dayMr Clarke, who fills up at least twice a week and already shops around for the best deal, said even a small increase of a few cents would hurt.Taxi driver Amit Batta said he is also concerned the attack, whichwill hurt the taxi industry.

"We would certainly have to look at it across the next couple of months and possibly look at putting our charge-out rates up a little bit to compensate," she said.NRMA spokesperson Peter Khoury said it normally takes seven to 10 days for large world events to be fully felt at Australian bowsers, but motorists were already dealing with high prices.

"It wasn’t great heading into last weekend in terms of prices and once the Middle East started to tear itself apart again it got even worse," Mr Khoury said.

weir_benjamin Beam me up Scotty

weir_benjamin Don’t worry about the price of fuel. Worry about going to war in Iran.

weir_benjamin Seriously....

weir_benjamin Prices are booming like housing and home loans.

weir_benjamin Terrified? FFS. Terrified of paying a few dollars more for a tank of petrol. 🙄 I would hate to be in the trenches with this lot.

weir_benjamin Prices WILL go up and bombing the fuck out of Iran won't help. Soz.

weir_benjamin Cycle instead

Trump says Iran likely behind Saudi attack but softens tone on military responseOne day after saying the US was locked and loaded to retaliate against those responsible for the weekend's attacks on Saudi Arabian oil plants, US President Donald Trump now says he's in no rush to take action. TRUMP LIES. TRUMP LIES. TRUMP LIES. My money is on gremlins. Bit awkward to go in hard against the hornets, when you're the idiot who kicked their nest in the first place after every adult in the room told you not to.

Pentagon urges restraint as US blames Iran for Saudi strikesUS military officials are also privately urging caution, seeking to defuse tensions they believe could push the United States into a possibly bloody conflict. This is disturbing. If it's confirmed that Iran is behind it, what practical or moral reasoning is there for not responding in a manner that severely deters any future attacks? Should no one ever respond to aggression since it could lead to further conflict? 🙄 I thought Saudi also proved Iran was involved,,

'Game changer': Crude oil surges over 10pc following Saudi attacksAn attack on a major oil processing facility in Saudi Arabia has led to a spike for crude oil prices. Scutty Reminds us of Matt Simmons' book published in 2005: Although that was a peak oil, not attack scenario. To the extent that Saudi oil production declined 2005-mid 2007, causing the US recession and the oil price shock in mid 2008, he was correct
