We've heard the term "our health workers" many times during the pandemic, but when we see them at work, they are mostly masked. It's a passion for helping others that's driven husband and wife team Inspector Kay Armstrong and Inspector Andrew McAlpine.Between them Kay Armstrong and Andrew McAlpine have 44 years of service at NSW Ambulance.

Together they have a combined service of 44 years at New South Wales Ambulance — both are intensive care paramedics and duty operations managers.Modelling suggests cases and hospitalisation rates will soar in October putting a strain on resources. "I didn't think it would affect me — the mindset of some people is like that and when they get this horrible disease and they end up in hospital on ventilators they are praying to god they survive it," Inspector Armstrong said.

"The younger staff that we have, have lots of children. They tell me that is their biggest fear is giving covid to their families."For paramedics each shift is a meticulous process, a rapid COVID-19 test at the beginning and end of each day.Next month is expected to plunge New South Wales into uncharted territory, with high case loads burdening our health system.

"We live in a great country. Let's link arms, get vaccinated and get on with our lives," Inspector McAlpine said.

We have seen them all our lives without masks 🤦🏻

The current surge in Covid deaths across the world is caused by the vaccinated. The Covid vaccines are extremely leaky and may well accelerate contracting and carrying Covid and turn those vaccinated with one dose or more into superspreader bombs.

‘Breaking point’: Nurse’s desperate pleaA Melbourne nurse has revealed the heartbreaking toll the Covid-19 pandemic has had not only on herself, but her colleagues as she pleads with Covid-deniers to get vaccinated. This is satire, surely? A nurse that puts on makeup at work. I'm no expert, however, I think that's not at all appropriate for the medical industry. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
