Boy's deadly burst appendix after misdiagnosis a reminder to all doctors, coroner saysThe NSW coroner finds a 13-year-old NSW boy died after his gangrenous appendix burst after twice being misdiagnosed with gastroenteritis. The doctors involved should be barred from practising until they've re-passed their Med School exams. In 2019 there is NO excuse any doctor including a new one should miss appendicitis. This proves that doctors are Not Gods and should not be treated as gods. Always question & if treatment is not working immediately go to another doctor or hospital. Not seeing 'culpability' in the coroner's report. To the lay observer looks like another whitewash not holding anyone to account for this tragic & avoidable death.
