Speaking to Sky News Australia on Tuesday Mr Bandt said: “the more that we learn about Labor’s climate policy the worse it becomes.”
It comes after Mr Bowen delivered a clear message to the Greens that Labor will not be changing its climate or energy policy even in the event of a hung parliament at the next federal election. As things stand Australia could face a hung parliament at the next election which would mean the two major parties would need to the support of the cross bench to form government.
He pointed out Labor had boasted there would be “not one jot of difference” between Liberal and Labor policies on coal and gas. “The only state in Australia where climate pollution is rising is where Labor has a whopping majority in Western Australia,” he said “This kind of ‘take it or leave it’ it’s ‘my way or the highway’ approach is the worst kind of macho politics that is turning people off politics at the moment,” he said.
Greens know nothing about environment nor are they interested. One is constantly using foul language and insulting other female MPs, another more concerned about pushing her personal barrel as an immigrant from a non Christian country. Political party or a foul joke.
