Kamala Harris given job as 'border tsar' but visits Guatemala's instead | Sky News AustraliaDocumentary filmmaker Ami Horowitz says Vice President Kamala Harris was given a job to manage the US border but she hasn't visited it yet – despite the US having the 'largest amount of people entering illegally in the last 20 years'. \n\n'She was given a job, the border tsar, she hasn't visited the border, she went to the Guatemalan border. I don't understand what's happening here,' he said.\n\n'Just to be clear that we have the largest amount of people entering illegally in the last 20 years in 2021, what's changed I wonder.\n\n'But she won't go down to the border because she doesn't want to be faced with her failures right in front of her. She'll go down there and she will be met with a hostile response by congresspeople and citizens who live along the border.' And doesn’t Biden realise that more immigrants = more housing and infrastructure which = more resources needed to build these houses? Oh, but we cannot use steel and timber as this effects ‘climate change’. Or maybe we build with mud and clay. Oh the hypocrisy is hilarious! 🤣 She is going to visit it. Means getting dirty . . She is going to be president very soon

Vic residents return home after floods | Sky News AustraliaResidents in Victoria are coping with the aftermath of floods that lashed the eastern suburbs last week. \n\nTraralgon residents are now back home after their second evacuation order with one resident, Bryan Macvoy, recalling the severity of the floods.\n\n“It was almost up to our knees in the house. It was probably up to our waist — almost to our chest out in the backyard,” Mr Macvoy said.\n\nOn Sunday 39,000 homes in storm and flood-affected areas were still without power and thousands may have to wait days for it to return. \n\nActing Premier James Merlino has announced financial support of up to $42,250 which includes grants for immediate hardship and residential homes. \n Another unseasonal extreme event. If only such flood waters could be diverted and saved for the dry season when and where it's needed!

Trilateral talks with Biden and Johnson were ‘really useful’ for Australia | Sky News AustraliaAustralian British Chamber of Commerce CEO David McCredie says it was “really useful” for Australia to be able to get two of its biggest allies - the United Kingdom and the United States - together for trilateral talks.\n\nPrime Minister Scott Morrison met with US President Joe Biden and UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson for the unique three-way discussion in Cornwall where leaders have gathered for the G7 plus talks. \n\n“I think it was interesting the way the trilateral talks were framed,” Mr McCredie said. \n\n“I think it is actually probably really useful for Australia to get two of our biggest allies in the room together and have those open discussions in a forum which is just a little bit tighter than perhaps with other G7 nations.\n\n“We know that over the last 100 or so years we’ve fought in a lot of conflicts together. There are a lot of shared values and principles that we have that sit underneath that”. \n ScottyFromPhotoOps Scottythefukwit MurdochGutterMedia You know humanity is unintelligent when allies is a thing and it's a dog eat dog world.

Doctors now able to give COVID-19 vaccinations in homes and residential facilitiesA deal has been reached with doctors to visit people at home or in aged care or disability residential facilities to deliver COVID-19 vaccines. Doing the work of the Fed Govt now, as they should have been months ago, when they were cut out by private contractors. BULLSHIT STORY, SINCE WHEN HAVE GP's HAD TIME IN THE PAST FOR HOME VISITS. Yes, but how many will take this up going to someone’s home? You can’t guarantee their level of health advice adherence... This will only be utilised when they are in an overseen facility who have a Covid-safe plan, in which it should have been part of the rollout all along.
