BREAKING: A 19-year-old man has been shot and killed after an unknown gunman opened fire on US protesters.

A protester grabs at the vest of a police officer in Detroit. Picture: Matthew Hatcher/Getty Images/AFPSergeant Nicole Kirkwood said officers had been in a confrontation with dozens of protesters, when a suspect in a Dodge Durango drove to the scene and fired shots on the crowd about 11.30pm.

Reports have emerged of looting of major businesses in the city’s shopping precinct with rioters attacking police vehicles, lighting fires and forcing officers to retreat. Demonstrators smashed through the windows of two patrolling California Highway Patrol cars as hundreds of people blocked the Hollywood 101 Freeway earlier on Friday, according to NBC.

I'll just leave this here.

So how does burning down businesses, some owned by African- Americans, help anyone’s cause?

This is no longer about justice for George Floyd. He was in fact a peaceful person. This is about something else, all fueled by others then the blame gets shifted onto the black community. It is a disgrace to continue this behaviour. This is not a protest, it is a blood bath.

Thugs out in the streets

It was only a matter of time.

Did the STAGED murder, undercover cops starting the riots, crates of weapons placed along sidewalk and the FAKE NEWS REPORTS TO CREATE A RACIAL WAR achieve the objective? The ONLY objective that is about to be witnessed, is the total annihilation of Media and Gov parasites.

Not a protest no more.

Isn't this what realDonaldTrump was inciting 2 days ago.

Rasicm and Guns!!! F Yer America 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

It was bound to happen, antifa probably shot a protestor just to inflame the situation! DICKHEADS...

Good job trump, thank Christ I don’t live in your fucked up country.

Well....stop rioting then 🤷‍♂️

I wish that I could go back in time and tell Americans that they should pick their own cotton as the alternative will ruin their country forever

They're not protesters anymore, they're rioters incited by thugs. Accurate reporting please.

You mean rioters? Waiting for you to blame it on President Trump.

So the police dress up as protesters and kill the protesters, very American

trump did warn them..and this is just the beginning. israel 2.0

How tragic🥺

Here we go.

Fake news, America is always great

Bet it was a white man like those protesting face masks.

Murica, land of the loonies.

cjwcjw Mebbe sumone decided that if the authorities won't stop it, they will.. Can only get worse IMO.

These are opportunistic, criminal activities

When the looting starts, the shooting starts. Trump warned these thugs of the consequences.

There’s a big problem with zero new COVID-19 casesEvery day, the numbers come in of the new coronavirus cases in Australia. Most days, thankfully, it’s a trickle of fresh infections; on some a few more. You should do a story about the rate of testing across the nation. As an example, Qld only tested 10,000 people in the last 7 days compared with Victoria's 100,000 tests despite having only 25% less people. It probably means asymptomatic cases are not being picked up. Ruby Princess. Who is accountable.? Worrying about the wrong pandemic?
