Footage posted to social media showed the Ferrari F40 going up in flames after a fire started in the engine compartment.
One brave bystander tried to put out the blaze using a garden hose from the balcony above the street. A man tried desperately to save the car by hosing it from his balcony. Another photo shows the extent of the damage, with the luxurious model transformed into a burnt wreck.
