Frustration is growing among the families of the 50 people killed in the Christchurch terror attack as they await the return of the bodies of their loved ones.

It is an Islamic custom to have the burial of an individual occur within 24 hours of their death where possible. Authorities have identified 21 of the 50 bodies with just six returned to families and friends. The city of Christchurch remains in mourning after an Australian-born gunman opened fire at two mosques.
