After a freak accident left Damion a quadriplegic, the young father has been told he must leave his family and go to New Zealand to get the care he needs.

Damion is a New Zealand citizen but has built his life in Australia – with both a young daughter and a long-term partner here.Damion and his daughter Maddy. Damion is unable to claim the NDIS in Australia and is now being threatened with deportation – forced to leave his family behind."I don't know what to say to her," Damion toldA Current Affair.
