South Australia's seasonal worker quarantine facility shuts down this week as the final group of international workers prepares to start picking on citrus farms in the Riverland.

South Australia's seasonal worker quarantine facility shuts down this week as the final group of international workers prepares to start picking on citrus farms in the Riverland. Local farmers had to cover quarantine costs but are pushing for a travel bubble with Pacific Island countries because Australians are refusing to do the work.

The Pacific Islanders have been the saviours of the state’s citrus industry because Australian workers would not take up the work even though they were offered $6,000 in relocation grants. The quarantine facility which was set up for international workers in Paringa will shut down for the foreseeable future once the final batch of Samoan workers finish up their quarantine on Saturday.

No bubble bounce back for New Zealand tourism | Sky News AustraliaTravel operators in Queenstown have told Sky News that the trans-Tasman bubble has not delivered the windfall they were expecting.\n\nQuarantine-free travel between Australia and New Zealand has been allowed since March but that does not mean tourists are taking advantage of the opportunity. \n\nHowever, Queenstown tourism operators believe the ski season will be the ticket to their recovery with hopes Australians will return in droves and spend up big when they arrive. \n Love to go back home for a visit, but the fact is , to risky to get caught up in a quarantine fiasco, given the tooth fairy and premiers to ready to use SOE to lockdown country and state . Simple reasons - 1. People have no leave, 2. Cannot afford travel. 3. Not willing to risk quarantine on return. People not ready to be exposed to CovidSARS2 That's because when Australians travel they do it on a shoestring budget because they are tighter than a fishes ar$ehole because they have a double mortgage, 2 cars, a boat and 3 brats in private school to pay for using their government benefits.

Security in the Indo-Pacific at the centre of trilateral meeting | Sky News AustraliaIt appears a lot of the trilateral meeting between Prime Minister Scott Morrison, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, and US President Joe Biden was “all about China”, according to Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell.\n\nMr Clennell said the emphasis on China could be seen in the statement put out by the three leaders following the meeting which said one of the issues of mutual concern was the Indo-Pacific region. \n\n“They agreed that the strategic context in the Indo-Pacific was changing and that there was a strong rationale for deepening strategic cooperation between the three governments,” the statement said. \n\nMr Clennell said, “then they mention exercises in the Indo-Pacific by the Carrier Strike Group, led by HMS Queen Elizabeth.”\n\n“So kind of worrying here … it seems to be a ratcheting up of tensions with China.\n\n“They don’t mention China, they just talk about tensions in the Indo-Pacific. Well, what else are they talking about?”\n Well that's that fixed then. IStandWithBrittanyHiggins ChristainPorter ScottyFromPhotoOps Scottytherapistprotector OH LOOK THE THREE STOOGES

Trilateral talks with Biden and Johnson were ‘really useful’ for Australia | Sky News AustraliaAustralian British Chamber of Commerce CEO David McCredie says it was “really useful” for Australia to be able to get two of its biggest allies - the United Kingdom and the United States - together for trilateral talks.\n\nPrime Minister Scott Morrison met with US President Joe Biden and UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson for the unique three-way discussion in Cornwall where leaders have gathered for the G7 plus talks. \n\n“I think it was interesting the way the trilateral talks were framed,” Mr McCredie said. \n\n“I think it is actually probably really useful for Australia to get two of our biggest allies in the room together and have those open discussions in a forum which is just a little bit tighter than perhaps with other G7 nations.\n\n“We know that over the last 100 or so years we’ve fought in a lot of conflicts together. There are a lot of shared values and principles that we have that sit underneath that”. \n ScottyFromPhotoOps Scottythefukwit MurdochGutterMedia You know humanity is unintelligent when allies is a thing and it's a dog eat dog world.

'Thankfully the G7 agreed' that 'it does matter' how COVID-19 started | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Paul Murray says it does matter how COVID-19 started and 'thankfully the G7 agreed this week'. It does matter because it might help us fight future outbreaks, but it's probably not the big conspiracy you're hoping for and it doesn't excuse Trump's gross incompetence in dealing with the pandemic, dopey. Start with Trump. Why did he pull his pandemic team out of China. Animal to human transmission you dumb fuck. Like all these type of viruses. Apparently it happens regularly but this one is a lot more stubborn than others. Just stick to eating donuts
