Members of Australia's Ukrainian community discuss how the possibility of war with Russia has been affecting the livelihood and wellbeing of their relatives back home.

The Bankstown resident says her brother has mixed feelings about the conflict and feels "trapped between both sides".

"While my brother is against war he, along with many other Vietnamese Ukrainians, is dying to reach a conclusion to the unrest and resume his normal life [as it was] before 2014."Ms Tran said her brother's business suffered a tenfold loss of revenue and was forced to close down due to the eight years of unrest in eastern Ukraine.

"I have asked my brother to migrate to safety in Australia many times but his family feels very attached to Ukraine and the lifestyle they have built."'Slowly dying' from instability
