Sky News host Paul Murray says not to “muck around” with lower house votes, because governments “if they change, have consequences”.

Mr Murray said while “governments are always imperfect”, the minor party vote should instead be cast in the upper house, where government isn’t formed.

“If you see somebody as being more to your conservative liking or more to your radical left liking, then do what you want in the senate. “But don’t muck around with what you’re gonna do in the upper house, because governments, if they change, have consequences.”
