Amid all the hype surrounding the Novak Djokovic saga, one troubling myth needs to be dispelled: that being infected with SARS-CoV-2 and recovering from COVID-19 provides adequate immunity from the disease, making vaccination unnecessary.

As someone who contracted delta only 6 weeks after my 2nd Pfizer shot I COMPLETELY DISAGREE. 4mths after infection, I was the ONLY ONE of a group of 6 in close confines of a positive person for 2hrs that remained negative. The difference? Natural immunity from past infection.

Omicron is a vaccine escaped variant caused by the vaccine because vaccination rates should never be this high during a pandemic. The vaccine narrows immune selection and causes variants like omicron. The vax cannot effect omicron.

As for your claim of a third dose, you’re wrong (once again) Not even 4th dose is effective against omicron.
