CNN Reporter Karin Caifa says candidate trends have been "so fluid" with "many variables" that Democrats are becoming worried about the lack of any "clear and decisive alternative" to rival President Donald Trump.

Ms Caifa said "momentum" was behind Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg but believed as the primaries moved from Iowa and New Hampshire to "more diverse states", it would grow increasingly difficult for him. "He has not shown a lot of popularity with African-American votes or the Hispanic community," she said. Image: AP
