Sky News host Chris Kenny says right around Australia hotel quarantine is operating well.

"That's what we've got to remember," he said. He said the infection of some hotel quarantine workers is "bound to happen" with highly-infectious viruses, such as COVID-19. "Even with the best quarantine infection control measures in place, now and then, you will get some infections".

"The real test here is the way they are identified quickly, the way they're isolated quickly and the way we can make sure hotel quarantine escapes, if you like, aren't allowed to turn into full blown outbreaks elsewhere". "The complaints and panic about hotel quarantine, I think at the moment, are over the top".
