‘Crushed’ Eddie McGuire reportedly ‘in a bad way’ after Collingwood demise

The TV mogul was forced to hand in his resignation last month after reportedly losing support from the board following the conclusion from the club’s internal investigation thatAt the release of the so-called “Do Better” report McGuire was widely criticised for his “trainwreck” press conference in which he declared the occasion a “historic and proud day” for his football club.

McGuire was spotted out in public on Tuesday, visiting the home of Aussie music legend Michael Gudinski, but has reportedly spent recent weeks as a recluse inside his Toorak home in Melbourne’s east. “When I came to Collingwood, it was a club with rivalries, enmities and division. That has not been the case in my time.
