A coronavirus cluster has been identified at a meat packing plant in Victoria.

Eight cases have now been linked to the business, but further infections could emerge, after all employees have been tested.

Health authorities are refusing to name the virus-stricken business but have assured the public contact tracing and deep cleaning process have been undertaken and the Victorian health Minister said concerns over contamination and food safety were unfounded. Image: Associated Press

I’ll have mine well done. Actually char it. Can’t be too careful.

Yes, an NRL scrum formed in Victoria with the result a cluster fuck.

2. Why is there new cases? Must be in contact with positive person or droplet from positive person. So is there positive cases doing wrong thing? Old news being used as PR tool? Or it being spread deliberately?

1. Facts. virus came from china. Spread by droplets. Recent arrivials in isolation. Confirmed cases should be in quarantine or hospital. Virus dies after period of time in air. If sick should not work. Population in social isolation.

Maybe DanielAndrewsMP Govt is refusing to name the meat plant as it might be owned by one of his Chinese mates!!! They have named every other cluster!!!

Halal certified by chance?

Shouldn't the public be informed if this plant services supermarkets Australia wide? Are there going to be meat re-calls? Or is this strictly a Victoria state ONLY issue?

I bet all the butchers are happy you included a photo of meat in this story will do wonders for their business

Meat spiced up with virus like USA.

This seems to be happening in meat plants in the US too. Thats wierd.

Vegans will be rubbing their hands in glee.

Gee better get the deputy health historian onto it, of course it'll be Captain Cooks fault

Karonleahely Thats it i am going full vegetarian now lolol

That’s it.....move Victoria and the VFL into the Bass Straight and drown them so the rest of the country can get on with life 😂😂😂😂

So what's going to kill more people ? A FAKE virus or STARVATION It's not that hard to figure it out. WORLD LEADERS ARE MURDERERS AND SHOULD ALL BE ON DEATH ROW. We WARNED people of food rationing, and yet as people starve to death, they still believe the bullshit. FUKEN DIKS

H I G H L Y S U S P I C I O U S

And here’s why

The left love this news......In Victoria of all places, surprise surprise

Who owns the plant? Because the plants that have had issues overseas are CHINESE owned. Besides, by now nearly everyone's had this virus in some form.

🤦🏻‍♀️

Very suspicious given same thing happened in US meat processing plant, yet no such clusters in places like Costco, Aldi, Woolies or Bunnings...🤔

Why isnt the location of this plant being disclosed? We have been informed where other clusters are as cruise ships, aged care facilities & hospitals. Why secrecy?

Piss off

Comrade Andrews will fix it, right DanielAndrewsMP ?

Will be interesting to see if there are any other such clusters at supermarkets here, especially the big chains. Apparently they have been remarkably free of infection overseas -- at least compared to other kinds of essential business. Definitely something suss about that.

If returning Aussies are quarantining, staying home, social distancing, washing hands, how did it happen? Did someone break self isolation? We need more testing plus health inspectors to visit worksites to determine what precautions are being taken.

Order me a double

Incredible how Bill Gates has a solution

i heard similar in the US , could be related to Bill Gates getting ready to push his synthetic meat crap upon an unsuspecting public ...

Damn. May they all recover.

Communist China's 'weird spin' wants the world to believe COVID-19 'was accidental' | Sky News AustraliaBeijing doesn't want the world to think the deadly coronavirus came from a viral laboratory in Wuhan as that theory could 'point to the worst fear of everybody' the disease was intentionally unleashed upon the globe, says Sky News host Rowan Dean.\n\nIt comes as US President Donald Trump had said he’s seen evidence the Wuhan Institute of Virology is the origin of COVID-19, not a wet market in the Chinese city.\n\nPresident Trump also said the World Health Organisation should be “ashamed” for being a “public relations agency for China”.\n\nDiscussing the president's comments with Sky News host Peta Credlin, Mr Dean said Donald Trump 'is right to shame' the WHO as it has become a 'discredited organisation'. \n\nHe said the Communist Party of China has produced some 'weird spin' as to the origins of COVID-19, at time making allegations it had actually come from America and then reiterating it came from a wet market in Wuhan. \n\n'Everything points now to it actually having come from a viral laboratory, there's two of them in Wuhan which work on not only viruses but also in using viruses in some kind of biotechnological fashion,' Mr Dean said. \n\n'It's always been likely or certainly possible that the virus somehow escaped, either accidentally or heaven forbid deliberately, from one of these viral laboratories'. \n\n'Clearly Beijing does not want us to think that it's coming out of these laboratories because that could in-turn point to the worst fear of everybody that it was somehow or other, intentional'. \n\nImage: Getty Rowan is clearly off his meds AGAIN Full of crap.
