Two Casey councillors resign ahead of expected sacking over developer donation corruption scandal

Cr Crestani told ABC Radio Melbourne that the Government should wait until the IBAC hearings finished before any decisions were made about the future of the council."It's just not a good look to sack innocent people as well, so I hope there is real consideration." A Government spokesman said it had received the monitor's final report and was considering its findings."They should have been sacked before Christmas," he said.

"I don't know why the Andrews Labor Government have been sitting on their hands knowing full well that council had lost all public credibility, and indeed the support of the ratepayers of the City of Casey.
