The Prime Minister may hope to have the country fully open by Christmas, but it won't be a normal festive season as community carol concerts are cancelled across Sydney on account of coronavirus fears.Sydney's largest outdoor Christmas concert, Woolworths Carols in the Domain, will be abandoned as a live event but the show will be filmed at the International Convention Centre and broadcast on television. Producers said they hoped to have seats available for the public at the ICC.
The council will instead host smaller events such as a Christmas lights trail showcasing the best lights and decorated homes as well as displaying public Christmas decorations.
