Cops swoop on doc over fake vaccine exemptions

Lake Macquarie GP Dr John Evans was interviewed by detectives after a whistleblower called into the Ray Hadley radio show about teachers at the Kempsey Seventh-day Adventist school using the certificates.

He did not respond to calls from news.com.au, but a voicemail message for the phone number on a flyer being shared by the reli­gious community in Kempsey referred to the program as having ended on Thursday.Those interested in getting an exemption would have to call and ask, and would then be emailed.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church said it was fully supportive of vaccinations and was “deeply concerned by these allegations and will be fully supportive of any police investigation”.

Hope they deregister the doctor.
