Sky News contributor Daisy Cousens says the minute a conservative woman publicly expresses themselves, “feminists and women generally on the left” throw the “worst kind of misogyny” their way.

It comes after Amanda Stoker came under fire for her appointment to Assistant Minister for Women from Australian of the Year Grace Tame and Magda Szubanski. Ms Cousens said women on the left talk about representation and advocating for women to be able to express themselves publicly “without fear of abuse”.

“However the minute a woman of a different political tradition, heaven help conservative women, raises her hand and decides to speak, well it’s absolutely open season,” she said. “The problem is that Amanda Stoker is conservative, not only is she conservative, she is openly Christian, and not only that, she is openly pro-life, and she has been outspoken about self-identification when it comes to trans-people.

Good Old Casper

Fixed it for you Clarabelle 'Crazy Cat Lady' stoker_aj

The left keep talking about the supposed 'rape culture' in the LNP. I think it's time we started talking about the actual 'pedophilia culture' in the ALP.

Every looney with a gripe that joins the momentum for change concerning women, dilutes the focus as they did in the 70s ?

Did this happen to Brittany Higgins?

Utter bollocks as usual Daisy. You are NOT a conservative. Just a con artist.

Everyone is sociopathic that is why and few adult people on earth are not. Nobody is right only right in their eyes.

It is worse than this because women actually don't like other women. They get jealous and it is a competition. Let's fund research on this topic instead of other areas of Political Correctness and telling us what to think.

It’s not misogyny - Stoker is a crazy person

Indeed, it's not the principle that matters; it's all about the power.

stoker_aj is a crazy lady

Great opportunity to ‘parachute’ Amanda Stoker into House of Representatives | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Peter Gleeson says there is now a “great opportunity” to parachute Assistant Attorney General Amanda Stoker into the House of Representatives.\n\nSenator Stoker lost her bid for the top position on the Senate ticket to fellow Senator James McGrath and has now been relegated to the usually unwinnable third spot.\n\nMr Gleeson said there was an opportunity for Senator Stoker to be moved to the seat of Bowman where there will likely be a pre-selection battle.\n\n“If she wants to get ahead in life, she needs to be in the House of Representatives rather than being a Senator,” he said.\n\n“I think there’s a great opportunity here to parachute her into the House of Representatives.”\n Yes, but can they? Girly voice Gleeson is a clueless KUNT. Either that or a cameo appearance as Cruella de Vil in a remake of 101 Dalmatians.

Biden's stance on China and Indo-Pacific 'good news for Australia' | Sky News AustraliaThe Australian's Foreign Editor Greg Sheridan says President Joe Biden's policy on China and the Indo-Pacific has been 'very good' - the Afghanistan military withdrawal will free up 'resources' to bolster their Navy in the Indo-Pacific.\n\n'The Biden administration has been very sensible- quite different from the second Obama administration,' Mr Sheridan said.\n\n'On the whole, it has continued Trump policy but I do think on China and the central challenge in the Indo-Pacific he and his whole administration... have been very good. \n\nMr Sheridan pointed to President Biden's efforts in withdrawing troops from Afghanistan to devote more resources to the Indo-Pacific.\n\n'I even think that it's been very good that he's pulled out of Afghanistan and is trying to draw down in the middle-east - because if you're fighting a war in the middle-east you're never going to devote the resources you need in the Pacific.\n\n'The US Navy has shrunk it's too small - can't do what we need it to do, so I think really Biden has been very good on China and the Indo-Pacific.'\n\n Greg wont be invited back Uh oh, programming error at Sky. Cut quickly to Rowan Dean! Thanks Greg.
