Climate-change activists disrupted rail services in London, sparking a clash between angry commuters and a protester who had climbed onto the roof of a train during rush hour

The protester then tried to kick away a commuter who clambered onto the carriage to drag him down. After a brief struggle the protester was pulled to the platform, where he was swallowed by a crowd of people shoving and shouting before a member of the Tube staff intervened to restore order.

"Canning Town is a very working class area. Seeing what they perceived to be middle-class protesters preventing working class people from earning a living didn't go down well," Basri said. Rising to prominence in April when it occupied four sites in London for 11 days, the year-old Extinction Rebellion group wants governments to hand power to "Citizens Assemblies" to agree economic and social changes to tackle climate change.Critics say the movement is proposing what amounts to the overthrow of the existing order without any clear idea of what would follow, and that the world still needs fossil fuels.

Everyone's getting sick of these childish and prophetic climate change activists protesters that have never worked in there life and done nothing for there country

Choosing working class Canning Town wasn't the best for this kind of stunt. What exactly did they think would happen?

2 protesters were actually dragged/pushed from the roof. Their choice of east London wasn’t a smart one 😂

Manly ferries suspended due to high windsCommuters face peak hour delays after a cruise ship docked in Circular Quay forced the cancellation of ferry services. Crossing The Heads on a Manly Ferry in big swells used to be the cheapest fun thrill ride in Australia 'It happens from time to time' says a spokesman from the cruise company. Oh really? When was the last time? Manly ferries are sometime halted due to big swells but never as I remember for high winds.

More than 370,000 sign e-petition for climate emergency declarationA parliamentary e-petition calling on the government to make a climate emergency declaration has attracted a record number of signatories - three times more than the previous record-holder, which called for the removal of GST on menstrual products. Let's see. 370,000 out of a population of 25,000,000. We'll assume that those that voted are politically motivated. Renders the figure insignificant. Bots at work I see. All of these petitions are crap because anyone can sign from any country & if you have multiple email accounts you can sign a number of times.

More than 370,000 sign e-petition for climate emergency declarationThe biggest e-petition in Parliament's history has been submitted, calling for legislation to reduce the causes of anthropogenic climate change. e-petitions submitted by people with multilabel email accounts=fraud, my question how naïve is the age or is it complicit in spreading manipulated information? I do find it rather amusing there’s a hot air ballon in the background .... surely there’s enough hot air outside parliament that you wouldn’t need the gas flame to use said balloon....
