A child has been killed after being struck in the carpark of a childcare centre in Epping, in Melbourne's north.Police said they were speaking to the driver of the car and a report is being prepared for the coroner
Video from the scene showed children were still playing in the outside playground while police were on the scene The emergency services were called to the Kindy Palace childcare centre in McDonald's Road, around 4:45pm following reports a child had been hit. A spokesperson for Ambulance Victoria said both a standard paramedic unit and an intensive care unit were sent to the scene.The driver of the vehicle was assisting police with the investigation.
