Treasurer Jim Chalmers has warned inflation will be “significantly higher” than expected, backing the Reserve Bank’s latest assessment.

Soaring commodity prices and supply chain shortages, fuelled by the war in Ukraine, have led the RBA to predict inflation will reach as high as 7 per cent before the end of the year.

Didn't Labor tell us before the election that they had 'a plan' to fix all of Australia's problems? They promised pay rises, cheaper food and petrol prices, free childcare etc. To date all we have seen is these incompetent freeloaders on neverending junkets overseas.

We all knew 5.1% was the start. Labor/actu got their 5.2% wage hike for 2.3m people, inflation will explode, interest rates to soar sharper & faster, jobs will go, marginal home loans to collapse. How will people cope with these costs & no job? Thanks Jim & Sally. Muppets.
