March would have been better but August will help. More humility and less arrogance is how to avoid covid19. IStillCallAustraliaHome and I hate watching us learn all our lessons the hard way.

NSW needs to up their testing

Children are relatively safe, we are seeing that schools are not. Kids take Covid home, it spreads etc. Teachers should have more say on class sizes and implementation of public health regulations within their school. Teachers are on the front line, they are at risk too.

I first visited mainland China in 1990. CCP mandated every child learned 3 languages in school - local dialect, either Mandarin / Cantonese......& English. 30 years ago they knew where they would be today. I wonder what they are planning for next 30...or 300 years? CCP COVID19

What happened to our PMs statement “...our kids are safe in schools.”

I would not want my child not being able to breath fresh air ... all day.

This has become an excuse for all the petty Fuhrers lurking in government paid work to inflict controls over us.

ElaineM11584892 Yes, but Gladys is getting splinters in her bum from sitting on the fence. Yes, no just just can’t make up my mind.

What do the ed-Unions know? They surely know how to avoid work, but beyond that?

What stops public to wear masks? Why one have to ask Government to mandate it! Common sense is not so common. Respiratory virus- masks make sense. Choice is in people’s hands!

Most kids in Auckland are back to learning at home today....must be nice to have a leader that cares about the health of teachers, parents and students.

If only the TeachersFed had the balls to demand this from Premier Gladys and the Education Minister. AGavrielatos P.S- there’s no civil liberty issue as uniforms are compulsory in schools, so surely a mask during a pandemic isn’t an issue!

Can we please have dedicated bins for masks so they can be disposed of suitably and not end up choking marine life.

CLPickering It's an airborne virus. Aerosols... enclosed spaces... Masks may not be enough in Australia's typically rather crowded settings - in small classrooms with low ceilings.

When kids get covid they have a very low viral load and rarely pass it on. Hence why there are no kids on ventilators or even in hospital.

GladysB is like an ostrich with her head in the sand. Make the right decision and stop procrastinating. Look at NZ once again.

Do you agree? Mask-wearing in school or not?

To the extent that pupils don’t have asthma and they shouldn’t be forced if they feel distress.

Kids are obviously immune to the virus 😹

Tanggarra virus is here !!

so ScoMo was wrong when he said schools were safe? auspol COVID19 ScottMorrisonMP

The mask is what is going to make our kids sick not the virus

Why? Mask wearing is very bad for your health.

Look at these weekend sport photos; do they understand at all?

Hahahaha good luck with that one.

Good luck with that.
