Australia will not ban social media platform Tiktok after security agencies found the Chinese company did not pose serious national security concerns | Gallo_Ways

, as well as platforms used primarily by the Chinese diaspora such as WeChat.

The Australian government will continue to look at ways to manage the privacy concerns posed by social media companies such as TikTok. The Australian Defence Force has already banned the use of TikTok on its devices, and other Commonwealth departments could follow. "But people should know that the line connects right back to China and that they should exercise their own judgement about whether they should participate in those things or not," he said.

Seems good to me, then an american company owns it. It’s only fair. American social media companies like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, whatsapp aren’t allowed to operate in China. It’s reciprocal business, not extortion.

Workers without sick leave to get $1,500 'disaster payment' in VictoriaThe Federal Government will introduce a $1,500 'disaster payment' for workers who need to self-isolate but do not have sick leave Prime Minister Scott Morrison says. Gee I wonder where he got that idea.... Great for those who need to self isolate. What about workers who don't have access to JobKeeper or JobSeeker? Are they supposed to pay bills with promises and eat air for six weeks? A lot of them spent their savings to get through the first round of lockdowns. Hasn't Premier Andrews already established this for Victorians❓ Maybe the PM should do it for the other states instead

Early super withdrawals larger than coronavirus support provided through JobKeeper, Keating saysFormer Prime Minister Paul Keating says the early withdrawal of superannuation dwarfs the support the Federal Government has injected through its JobKeeper program — and has entrenched inequality between Australian generations. WITH DRAWS FROM SUPER IS MADNESS The only thing keeping many from sinking. It’ll be interesting to see the DV numbers grow if the ATO act like the robo calls Centrelink had such issues with. He sent Australia's manufacturing to China, now works for the CCP and Jeffrey Epstein slept with his daughter. There's not a bigger loser in this country.
