Fires at Glen Rock State Forest near Gatton and Carneys Creek west of Beaudesert remain at watch and act level The BOM expects conditions to ease today, with the temperature forecast to be 10 degrees Celsius lower than yesterday The Laidley and Grandchester fire flared shortly before 3:00pm on Tuesday, with authorities quickly issuing an emergency warning for residents to seek shelter.Up to another 30 households were evacuated from nearby Lefthand Branch and Thornton, where a bushfire remains at a watch and act level.
