Rohan Browning impressively wins his heat in a personal best time, while Matthew Denny achieves Australia's best finish in an Olympic men's discus final.

Australia's Rohan Browning stormed into the men's 100 metres semi-finals at the Tokyo Olympics after winning his heat in a personal best time of 10.01 seconds.He will contest the semi-finals on Sunday nightBrowning's impressive showing was followed by Matthew Denny, who achieved Australia's best result in a men's Olympic discus final with a fourth placing.

In what was the fastest time run by an Australian sprinter at an Olympics, Browning won his heat in a highly credentialled field, which included Jamaica'S 2012 silver medallist Yohan Blake ."I had a look at the start list, I thought I've got one of the stiffest heats. You'd rather do it the hard way, it is much more satisfying.
