Recastled CEO Kosha Gada says the United States is facing “stagflation” and the Federal Reserve only has the power to impact interest rates – which cannot happen in a vacuum.

Ms Gada said the economic phenomenon came because the country was experiencing a “recession happening at the same time as inflation”.

“That is something the Biden administration and Congress is going to have to face coming into the midterms as well as in ‘24,” she told Sky News host Chris Smith.

‘Scathing’ Commonwealth Ombudsman report into data privacy ‘should concern everyone’Sky News host Cory Bernardi says the Commonwealth Ombudsman report released last week into data handling from 19 Australian agencies is something which “should concern everyone”. “The report is scathing about all agencies,” he said. “Our privacy is under constant attack by the forces of government, I’ve been concerned about that for a very long time, I think it's something we take far too lightly in this country.” He discussed the issue with IPA’s Gideon Rozner. Can someone please remind him his mob were in office for the last decade? Cory didn't have a problem with it when the LNP were in charge and suddenly he is concerned? Public servants doing something that as a concern , nothing new there , they are the largest criminal organization in EVERY state. The biggest RORT during the pandemic was all the overtime these people claimed by working from home. No one even asked questions about that.

Europe’s energy crisis has ‘just been getting worse’Sky News host Chris Kenny says Europe’s energy crisis has been worsening as the world mourns Queen Elizabeth II. “Crippling power bills are forcing manufacturers to close their doors for a couple of days each week, standing down staff,” he said. Mr Kenny said parts of Germany have banned hot showers at gyms and swimming pools as well as portable air conditioners and heaters and Paris has resorted to turning off the Eiffel Tower’s lights early. “And in Britain, millions of businesses will have their power bills capped for six months, to help them stay afloat,” he said. “Boris Johnson, in one of his final speeches as PM, hit the nail on the head, identifying nuclear as the solution, while calling out weak poltictions for dropping the ball.” Get woke go broke.
