World No.1 Ash Barty has won through to her first Australian Open final, beating American Madison Keys in straight sets.

Jim Courier has spoken with Ash Barty post-match.

You continue to be incredibly efficient on the scoreboard, but these matches are always tougher than they look on paper. What were the challenges tonight, and what were you most pleased with in your game? It’s just so nice to see her back where she belongs. She is an amazing human being. You see the way she carries herself on the court she smiles, gives it her best. But I love most that she is a great person. No matter what happens on the court, she looks you in the eye, gives you a good handshake. I just love that about her. I know a lot of girls do. We really respect her and we love her.

Hear, hear! We love you, Dylan. You got this women’s semi-final night off to a wonderful start. There’s one more match coming, and it’s going to be Iga and Danielle. You will face the winner. Love to just get your take on their tournament so far, what challenges one of them is going to provide for you in the final on Saturday night.

She's a very cool chick and great ambassador. When I watch this match though, it's so obvious that it's many levels below the men's tennis. Women just aren't as strong and coordinated. I feel so bad thinking trans players will come in and destroy them physically.
