Ms Panahi said “a number of countries including Singapore, Iraq and Indonesia have taken similar measures to Australia and the US in banning all foreign travellers who have recently been to China”.

“It's curious that the usual race-obsessed simpletons save their biggest criticism of the coronavirus response for countries like Australia and the US instead of China whose own citizens are risking harsh sanctions by speaking out about the outbreak,” she said.

It's called looking at your own! Get over it Rita

The better question is, is what they're doing helping? If so, continue to do it. If not, don't.

You go Australia! You all have a right to protect yourselves. 👍

'are being described as “racist and sinophobic”.' By who?

Nope More so it’s smart and self preservation Surprised it’s not being also blamed on climate change too lol

Whoever called this racist is racist.

no its its being sensible

Wonder if she's gonna put her hand up to welcome some of the 'suffers to her houese! No point lecturing us if your ain't gonna do something about it yourself.

Only by actual racists! Eg Osman Faruqi the racist offspring of the Greens Party’s one and only Meereen.

Then why the fuck are they coming here then , because Australia in general is a safe country, and the complainant is racist themselves.

We can now expect a unprecedented resurgence in the use of the word racism from the left name callers. So what?

Uh no!

How bloody stupid

Straw man.

Bulldust

Simple answer.. Nope.

It’s not racism, it’s Coronavirusism. Nobody likes a Coronavirus.

Do they not realise, there are many races in Australia, and it's about the safety and security of 'all these races'. Australia is a 'Race'. Australians are many races! It's the job of politicians, to put the Safety & Security of Australia first. This is not race specific.

Whoever calls these precautions ''racist' is a total lunatic.

and working.

abcnews How many people after knowing that they had been in close proximity with those affected by corona virus made the choice to travel around without voluntarily getting diagnosed to verify if they were affected too? Why did they put others at risk?

nothing would be different if the virus outbreak was in the centre of Europe. These people at the ABC are a disgrace, they look for and find racism everywhere even where it doesn't exist. Time for an enquiry into the ABC

By whom? Names and quotes, please.

These prudent measures are quite sensible considering the virus does seem to be ethno specific at this stage.
