China's foreign ministry has again lashed out at Australia for its decision to ban Chinese telecommunications company Huawei from participating in the rollout of its 5G network and accused Australia of "lecturing other countries".in an interview urging Britain to do the same and ban Huawei from participating.

Australia was the first US ally to effectively ban Huawei from the construction of its 5G network. Britain and Canada are still examining whether to allow Huawei, a leader in 5G technology, to participate. They have faced pressure from the United States to ban the company."Under the pretext of national security, Australia was the first country to ban Chinese companies from its 5G network roll-out without any evidence of risks," Hua said.

She warned "some in Australia" should "stop doing such things that hurt the interests of Australia itself and others". China has repeatedly questioned Australia over the legality of the 5G restrictions in the World Trade Organisation.

How much did the Chinese Government pay your company for being their mouthpiece?

China playing the racism card!

And Australia is making the right decision

And rightly so.

Hence Gladys election to Aust Parliament. Easier to change on the inside than out. EngadineScott eng LiarFromTheShire PMbrownpants

Fukk China.

Oh give us a break. It is simple: we do not want our telecommunications built, owned and controlled by a totalitarian State headed by a self appointed dictator for life. Is this clear enough? If China wants to participate in such areas, reform your government.

Tell China to piss off and tell them to stick there huaweis where the sun don't shine.

Don’t worry, Gladys Liu will get them back in the game. That would be right wouldn’t it Scooty? ScottMorrisonMP

Maybe China should take a dose of it's own medicine and butt out of Australia's affairs. They like to lecture the world but listen to no one. Suck it up.

Try to export a product to China not so free as they make out

Well done Australia proud of you

They can’t be trusted

Ignore CCP’s phony histrionics. These drama queens will never stop whining anyway.

If a few HKers can stand up against them, surely our government can too?

If the CCP's foreign ministry is cursing you, that's solid proof that you've done a very good thing. So, it's 100% correct for Australia to do that.

Now kick China out of Darwin Port auspol

Bwhahaha

The US Govt is right all along when they see Huawei as a security threat due to its close proximity to the Chinese Government. Australua has every right to be concerned. We're not the one who is disciminating - the Chinese Government is. auspol2019

It’s protectionism and it’s nothing new

what nonsense China & the Chinese communist party are being very naughty little boys & girls. bribery bullying & buying seats in our parliament. Is not acceptable behaviour. a blanket ban from all business could be a better fit. IF they fail to play the game above the boards.

There is price to pay. Think twice who needs who most!

This is a bad thing, how? Let the CCP flail about and shake their fists.

Surely Gladys can sort this out for them? Would be racist not to right ScottMorrisonMP GladysMustGo
