Pfizer vaccine rollout date confirmed as first doses arrive in Australia

The first shipment of Pfizer coronavirus vaccines landed in Australia shortly after midday today, Health Minister Greg Hunt has announced.

Leave it as it is. No need to change for a small minority. I think it should be on a rainy* Wednesday in the middle of winter. *exact date movable by BOM decree. Finally the media are reporting on Community Transmissions as the key number! Finally... how long has it taken for them to realise that the CT figure is key!!🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Bull shit - tell me one person you know that does not hate that racist illegal to our 1901 Constitution treason flag. Now let’s move on! How close to half are we talking? 🤔 I don't know who you are polling but I don't know anyone who wants it moved. Proud to be Australian, proud of my heritage, proud to have served my country, proud to have served the community. I will never be made to feel guilty that I am a proud white Australian.

Which poll? Who took this poll and when was it taken? What is the sample demographic? Unless you display this information it is immediately suspect. 'A new poll' could me a 60 sec chat between workmates in the tea room! Unless revealed and confirmed, it is fake or bias propaganda A poll indicated Australians want a MurdochRoyalCommission now.

Leave it and the National anthem as they are and when we become a Republic🤞change both and centre the National anthem around who we want to be in the future and cling onto the past. Why does our attitude need to change More than half Dont want the date changed ! You mean you what your narrative agreed to.. think about it !!! The more the media listens to the minority the more the silent majority will push back so get that up YA !!!!

I have no problem with changing the date, the date is of no huge relevance to me. I do have a problem with activists telling me that I am not allowed to celebrate and be proud of being an Aussie. Go and play with something else. 'Nearly half'? So NOT the majority? Effectively more Australians actually want the date changed. No wonder some in WA want to secede and the other states hold NSW in contempt. Jan 26th is a date that celebrates English conquest, not the making of a nation.

Let's have special day in Aust calendar remembrance for those dead from Covid. Your thoughts people How many people were polled? Cmon Australia, show some empathy. Imagine how it would feel to see people celebrating the date that invasion and dispossession of the land you love began. Basic people arguing over unimportant and uninteresting topics. Why don’t you instead debate with the same vigour over how we can raise our nation to the highest levels of success?

The perpetually offended will complain no matter what date it is celebrated on. Leave it as it is. I’d be surprised if this poll reached the silent majority who thankfully maintain and preserve our patriotic spirit and national pride Why? When did this poll take place and who conducted it? If the whole country wasn't polled on this, how do you know close to half the country oppose it? Why are you lying?

Time for vocal minority drunks, thieves & petrol sniffers to come out & blame the white man again! If it was JAPAN or CHINA that settled here all the ABORIGINALS would have been culled off, or if lucky ENSLAVED like the Uighurs! Think of THOSE consequences IF you're sober enough! We shouldn't change the date

What date would we make it? A new poll shows over half of Australia wants to CHANGE THE DATE. How hard is it for you to get your headline right? . 1. Should we have an Australia Day? 2. What should it celebrate? 3. What is a good date to achieve this? . Close to half Americans wanted Donald Trump as their president....

If the media are saying half it would be more like 90% we all know what the media is like they are liars A new poll? Change date ....in next decade? Sampling Error of Bullshit .......Cholera BradfieldThe Needs to be changed to May 8th. Maaaatte...🙃 “Close to half” sounds like a minority... The change is inevitable.

Ahead of 'Australia Day,' I'd like to ask as an Asian immigrant recently chastised for celebrating the day: As a 'stolen' nation, and a land with a large and growing population of dual-citizens, is there any rationale for defending ourselves against China or any other nation? 🤔 Our attitude needs to change? Thats why Labor (Senate) is in opposition outoftouch LaborFail

It won't change, whatever would they protest about if it did? No wonder Labor are losing votes in the outer suburbs Can't we change the date of invasion day? 😜 I have never been able to remember the date anyway lol as long as they still give us the holiday, I couldn’t give a rats arse about what day it is. 💙

More than half
