Australian shares are poised to open lower this morning despite the final Brexit breakthrough and positive movement on Wall Street.

The divorce deal lifted European stocks to a year-and-a-half high and the Australian dollar is up slightly, but ASX futures are

down 27 points. Commsec economist James Tao told Sky News on Friday doubts surrounding local support for the agreement erased the gains.
