Organ donors opposed to taking the Covid-19 vaccine kicked up a storm on Twitter, but it didn’t take long for the protest to fall flat.

Authorities say the move is due to the fact recipients of new organs are immunocompromised as their body tries to adjust.

“Prior to transplant and as per normal process, the recipient must ensure all of their vaccinations are up to date. “The COVID-19 vaccination is no different.” In October, Abbott announced the state would welcome the unvaccinated to come there and receive lifesaving organ transplants.

Noice. Imagine if there was a law stating ‘Not accepting gays as organ donors’. Or… ‘No coloured people as organ donors’? No different really… I mean, one of those groups has a very high HIV risk, and the other a shorter average life span. So kinda makes sense. May as well 😏
