More than 50 fires continue to rage across Queensland, the most dangerous in the Gold Coast hinterland where it has destroyed homes and the heritage-listed Binna Burra Lodge.

But there has been some good news for residents further inland, in the Queensland border towns of Stanthorpe and Applethorpe where another major fire has destroyed three homes and other property.
It’ll all be ok.
Now everything is blamed on climate change, this is what happens when there’s no controlled burning, the other states should pay attention and act, summer is coming.
