My sleep is patchy, so I schedule a Zoom session with meditation supremo Jacqui Lewis from The Broad Place. Jacqui goes through my before-bed routine and says I probably have high cortisol levels as a result of stress. She suggests going to bed at 10pm consistently and waking at the same time each morning .

Also, no tech devices an hour before bed as they can deplete sleep. She also suggests a nightly ritual: a soothing cup of chamomile tea using the same cup each night, then lighting a lavender-scented candle before reading in bed for half an hour. These will all become signals to my body each night that I am getting ready for sleep. My body and mind seem to like the new sleep sequence and I find drifting off easier.

How working from home could save you $7000 a yearCompanies are beginning to realise that they actually like us out of the office, but it's important to recognise that you too could make big savings by working from home. Women will fight tooth and nail to continue working from home post corona, they only ever wanted to be in the workforce if it was handed to them on a platter. Yep! ☺️ The thing no one is considering here is new workers just out of uni. These people need the discipline of a year or two in the office before working from home. A lockdown lesson: Old footy was betterIt did not take too many games to reach the sobering conclusion that the AFL's 2015-20 product is an inferior spectacle to the footy that spanned the mid '80s until sometime in the 2000s, writes Jake Niall. | OPINION Agree Or maybe you’ve just watched a selection of the best games from the era!? I’m sure you could hand select just as good games in this era. I remember watching Fitzroy/ Footscray/St kilda/ bears games Early 90’s games in 2 feet of mud where they barley scored all day. Players of today are equally as brave are more highly skilled, fitter and faster, but the type and style of footy in the 80's was by far the most engaging, the most brutal, the best. The 1989 GF from the first minute to the last is the best GF ever.

There’s a big problem with zero new COVID-19 casesEvery day, the numbers come in of the new coronavirus cases in Australia. Most days, thankfully, it’s a trickle of fresh infections; on some a few more. You should do a story about the rate of testing across the nation. As an example, Qld only tested 10,000 people in the last 7 days compared with Victoria's 100,000 tests despite having only 25% less people. It probably means asymptomatic cases are not being picked up. Ruby Princess. Who is accountable.? Worrying about the wrong pandemic?
