Alec Baldwin says his 'heart is broken' for family of dead cinematographer Halyna Hutchins

Ms Hutchins died after being airlifted to hospital and Mr Souza is being treated at a medical centre for injuries sustained in the incident.

A spokesperson for Baldwin earlier said there was an accident involving the misfire of a prop gun with blanks. Images of the 63-year-old actor — known for his roles in 30 Rock and more latterly for him impression of former President Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live — showed him distraught outside the sheriff's office on Thursday.

Two questions 1 why is a real gun used as a prop when it's easy to make an inoperative replica 2 Why was he pointing and discharging a gun pointed at a person prop or otherwise.

Unbelievably cruel & distasteful that you ran the headline ‘Alec Baldwin shots & kills crew member’ across the bottom of the screen on News 24. Absolutely disgusted by this callousness. I read that Trumpis ghouls are celebrating this happening was it to appeal to them? Hideous.
