Fueled by the media in desperate need of local drama. Come on go your hardest let's cause as much mayhem as possible.

It’s Sad more people are watching Demonstrations in the USA over black rights. But no one really gives a shit when it’s happening here.

Tell a cop you're going to punch his lights out and see what happens. Play stupid games win stupid prizes, cop did nothing wrong

Whoever is the leftist in the ABC agreeing to run these kinds of stories needs to stop. It's definitely not helping in any way at all... It's not effective journalism... Very disappointing ABC...very disappointing 👎

❤️❤️

Pigs being pigs 🤷‍♂️ tiny man acting tough with the uniform on, I’ll never get over how disgustingly racist this country is and how in denial it is at the same time

Those little buggers speak so rude to there piers ..unless your there why should we....act like Americans especially right now ... Be adults be Australian ...let the authorities deal with it ...why ABC really ? it's bad enough overseas.. Keep Australia free of violence 🙏🏼

Was their a need to do that considering he was already handcuffed? Excessive. He should be sacked

And people wonder why cops are hated by MANY Australians! This flog needs a lesson.

When these little shitheads go looking for trouble, they cry when they find it. Kick harder.

There was no need to kick the teen's feet so he falls to the ground, handcuffing him was enough. That is another example of excessive force used by a police officer in australia.

If you can't deal with a teen mouthing off without body slamming them onto concrete you shouldn't be a police officer. If another teen at school had done that, he'd likely be expelled and up on assault charges.

The shithead was taken down and arrested, that's what police do to criminals, black or white. Now get over it you pathetic sheep, this is called policing and it happens all day everyday in the real world. You should try living in for once

While I don't agree with the RWNJs commenting on this and similar posts, I feel for the young police officer. He is as much a victim of his superior officers, his poor training and the poor police culture as the black youth is our community's lack acceptable behavioural standards

ABC 7 + 7 Fueling the hate and division day after day!

Well it's Cornell West. But it is Cornell West. nitv auspol

That’s it ABC, keep fueling the fire. Who’s going to deliver the bricks for you when you get your riot going.

So a kid is allowed to threaten a police officer, and the defence from most in this comment section is 'Its just words' Last i checked, words have impact and meaning. Stop defending a youth who wasn't raised with decency and respect

Why are we making this a race issue? A young man threatened the police officer, officer reacted in anger. He will be charged and the officer will face internals. End of story.

If you keep editing the inconvenient bits, you can get whatever outcome you want. Just stop it with the race-baiting.

BlackLivesMatter

I'm so sick of seeing this. The kid's parents should have been charged for child abuse.

Good job offcer 👍👌

Where’s the backlash? Most comments I’ve read is that the teen got what he deserved. But of course that doesn’t fit the story you’re trying to create.

More racist fueling propaganda by the ABC

Just a tip!! As soon as the cop put his knee on his neck he broke the law!!!

nswpolice Leadership and Culture direction come from the top. Indigenous Australians need you to affectuate a culture change in the police force, this is totally unacceptable behavior, you are supposed to protect us, not use violence to stoke fear and distrust. It's on you.

It doesn't happen just to people of colour. Not all police are like this.

Systemic racism is a world wide phenomena. We need to fight and defeat it at every opportunity

Defund the ABC

The ABC desperately trying to start their own race war..

Cut it out ABC, I'm sure his lawyer can try out that argument AFTER they deal with his assault police charges 💁‍♂️

TheirABC has been race-baiting this story soooo hard. You should all be ashamed of yourselves down there, not journalists, just activists.

Brilliant ! When will people realise ' police baiting' can come at a price

.Why are you praising the Morrison Govt for supporting Trump's attacks on global Democracy...and why does our PM also support Putin? WHY? and why don't you CARE?

Can’t do the time don’t do the crime! Why are you teaching children that it is ok to assault police? Why do you hate Australia?
