in the past 24 hours as almost 60 per cent of the population aged over 12 have been fully vaccinated.There are 240 actives cases of the virus across the territory, with ten in hospital.According to ACT Health, 85.8 per cent of the eligible population aged over 12 have had their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.On Thursday, Chief Minister Andrew Barr expressed concern about vaccine delays.

Mr Barr said he had heard anecdotal reports of vaccine shortages in the ACT and it was "enormously" frustrating."We would have preferred to have greater certainty coming into October, we hope we will get that sooner rather than later," Mr Barr said. "We've been very conservative with our approach, ensuring we would never cancel any bookings because vaccines weren't available."Continue reading
