Sky News host Chris Kenny says a “school's responsibility always, first and foremost must be to the children” to ensure their protection, safety and pastoral care.

Sky News host Chris Kenny says a “school's responsibility always, first and foremost must be to the children” to ensure their protection, safety and pastoral care. On Wednesday, a Melbourne headmaster who provided a character reference for a convicted child sex offender who preyed on one of his students resigned.

St Kevin's headmaster Stephen Russell released a statement last Tuesday evening saying he “regrets” ever submitting the reference after the revelations aired on Four Corners on Monday night. Mr Russell tendered the character reference for St Kevin’s athletics coach Peter Kehoe who was convicted of grooming year nine student Paris Street in 2014. “The school must exist for the protection and pastoral care of the child,” Mr Kenny said.

I also support the Safe Schools program. It's nice to have Chris Kenny on board.

Interesting he’s not jumping on Bolt’s “it was only hitting on the child” fellow pedophile train... The ONLY people who think it’s OK to “hit on” a child are fellow pedophiles - full stop. Why are you employing predators like Bolt? Has he had a thorough police check?

This is one of few times I have ever agreed with Kenny. Now if only he could get Bolt to also put the needs of children ahead of Bolts ego

PaulBongiorno have you seen this sir? Seems Sky is in damage control regarding your mate.

But wasn't it just 'hitting on' according to your other presenter Andrew Bolt? Perhaps you should chat with him?

*cough*AndrewBoltdickhead*cough*

Yet Andrew Bolt, another of your employees, supports pedophiles and lies about the enormous damage caused by child sexual abuse. So which is it, ? Support pedophilia or not? Employ Bolt or not? StKevins pedophileDefenders childabuse

Tell your mate Bolt who just doesn't get it!

This is a great day. Kenny has finally looked away from the trash like Bolt and said something to support ordinary Australian parents and their children.

Tell your colleague Bolt that, disgraceful

Breaking!: sky news in turmoil as kenny disagrees with bolt! Breaking!!

Bolt must go - ignorant dinosaur. boltmustgo

Surely there’s a ‘but...’ There’s evil perched on both shoulders of the Kenny.

Bolt and Henderson said it’s alright if you’re only hitting on them

How the hell then do you allow Bolt a platform to defend paedophilia? Why does this man still have a job? Interesting ABC journalists get raided and this pathetic excuse for a man gets a platform to sprout his offensive opinions

Now they are indoctrinators.

Unfortunately Chris we've been trying to protect them but have had our hands cut off from helping when it comes to social issues from the spineless left media who will sell thier own children's souls for the sake of selling commercials via disillusioned public debate.

Totally having a crack at Bolt? 🤔 Wait, same boss so I guess not

Oh, really?! Who would have known this important imperative!!!

Sudden change of direction by skynews.

Correct.

And the Government responsibility is to their Citizens irrespective of their colour, religion but it has instead fuelled divisions, hatred including the Media who played their own part. Rupert Murdoch media has been the worst, the most evil and the most immoral towards Muslims
