It’s weird people get so offended when told it is disrespectful to climb Uluru when the act of climbing holds no spiritual value for them. You are not following in the footsteps of past civilisations as you do in other parts of the world. Indigenous people didn’t climb it.

Respectful behaviour is expected in places of worship and memorial sites the world over. Indigenous culture is tied to respecting the land and just because there is not a built structure does not mean it is right for us to stomp all over it notourland

Leftists parents obviously pushed her to virtue signal and shine a negative light on the climb.

Australia belongs to all Australians regardless of heritage or genes

Always the other ways to climb up if they block this way up....

Which part you don't get it. FUCKOFF Dontclimb You are desecrating a holy place. If peaceful pleas not to climb and show some respect for aboriginal culture don't help. May be some casualties will.

Karma

Build a staircase.

I can't wait. climbing Uluru is about the most crass activity any tourist could do.

Just be grateful that people are paying big money to travel to that middle-of-nowhere shit hole to see and climbed that rock!

The rock is angry and must be appeased with flesh and blood...

Surprised there are not more injuries with the hoard of Lemmings breaking their necks to get to the top Everest-like!

The sooner it is closed, the better, it was always a dangerous climb.

Unlucky to be injured by her parents poor tourism choices.

Her parents are to blame.

Karma. Shouldnt be climbing it in the first place. Have some respect.

12 Hours. Four Syrian hospitals bombed. Evidence reveals one culprit: Russia. The Russian Air Force has repeatedly bombed hospitals in Syria in order to crush the last pockets of resistance to President Bashar Assad, according to an investigation by The New York Times. Any terrorist targets are fair game. Why would someone bomb hospitals? What strategy is achieved by doing this? I can't believe this story at all. It's pure propaganda This nonsense has been totally debunked and regurgitating NY Times propaganda pieces makes you complicit also. Well done SBS for losing all credibility
