Ms D'Ath announced changes to rules on visitors in hospitals to reduce the potential spread of the virus around health facilities.

"At the moment we're not putting a complete ban on visitors as we did have to do previously, but we are limiting the numbers, of course, there'll be exceptions to that rule particularly around palliative care, end-of-life visits and maternity." Ms D'Ath expressed concern about the number of people in their 20s and 30s coming forward to get their second vaccination.

Very sad for the families.

some serious questions: 1. do you know if these poor people (in all States) died in hospital, at home, in aged care? 2. Did the victims have Delta or Omicron? 3. Why are deaths rocketing if Omicron is so mild? Thank you. I’m in WA & fearful of our planned 5 Feb opening.

Remember Qld hospitals are only for Queenslanders. 🤪
